I was  going through the TIMES LIFE page of THE TIMES OF INDIA in the morning and this geek speak section excited me o much that I couldn’t stop myself from sharing it with you all.
This column contains detail about the various gadgets in store for us in future. The man-friendly gadgets and gizmos are as follows:-

  • Ø WALK AND CHARGE YOUR PHONE: It is a cell phone charger shoes. The movement of your body will charge the battery of your cell. Whether you run or walk the battery will be charged up. All you need to do is plug your mobile to the shoe with the USB cable. Argentina industrial designer SOLEDAD MARTIN has come up with a solution to charge your cell phone when it is out of charge. The charger shoe is a nano generator system, which transforms your movement into electric energy, i.e. kinetic energy.                                                                                     It is still in concept stage and the price will be decided later on.

                      
  • Ø  SWEAT OR STINK: It is an Aoki’s Farago Aircool suit. Aoki, a Japanese formal menswear company, has come up with a deodorant suit, which promises to eliminate body odour during the hot days of summer. Silver ions have been incorporated into the fabric, which have a toxic effect against bacteria, viruses and fungi, making the clothing anti-bacterial and thus reducing body smells. It is also extra light and moisture absorbing. The company has also launched good smelling apparel like a polo shirt and socks. It help to eliminate body odour during the hot days. The price of these is approx. Rs. 18638.


  • Ø TIED DOWN: It is the stick pin tie iron. When you will clip it to your tie, you can use it as an impromptu iron to remove creases. It’s ideal for the business travellers who have no time to change before the party. To iron your tie, just hit the the button, turning it on, clip it to your tie, and slide it up and down. The device uses ceramic heating plates that get powered by either USB or an electric outlet. It displays its heated temperature on its face. It is still in the concept stage.
